aqi0. Say it out loud — AQI Zero.

It isn’t just our name. It’s the number we’re chasing — an Air Quality Index of zero, the cleanest air there is. We deliver it indoors today. We’re waiting for the day India breathes it everywhere — the day we’re no longer needed.

The name is the promise

Most brand names are decoration. Ours is a target.

aqi0 reads as AQI Zero — an Air Quality Index of zero. As clean as air gets. It’s a bold thing to print on the side of a machine, and we did it on purpose, because it keeps us honest about the only number that matters: the one on the monitor in your home.

There are really two AQI Zeros. One we can deliver today — indoors, in your home, this season. The other — outside, everywhere, all year — belongs to all of us, and it isn’t here yet. aqi0 lives in the gap between those two numbers. We close the indoor half now, and we root, hard, for the day the outdoor half closes too.

What we do

For most of the year, the air outside an Indian home is many times dirtier than a body should breathe — and not only in Delhi, not only in winter, but across much of the country, most months, for as long as anyone has kept records. Families spend most of their lives indoors; children spend nearly all of theirs there. Indoors is the one piece of air a household can actually control.

So that’s what we built: a whole-home air purifier — technically, a positive-pressure fresh air system — that draws outdoor air through a medical-grade H13 HEPA filter, fills the whole home with it, and holds the air clean in every room, every season, whatever the street outside is doing.

Our mission — to give every Indian family a home where they can breathe and recover. Clean air indoors, every room, every season, for as long as the air outside isn’t clean enough on its own.

Recover, not only breathe — because the body doesn’t toughen up against dirty air, it just stores it. Clean indoor hours are when it gets to heal.

The good days

Here’s the part we’re proudest of, and it’s an odd thing for a company to admit: some days, you don’t need us.

A few dozen days a year — the monsoon weeks, the mornings after heavy rain, the rare clear stretch — the air outside is genuinely clean. On those days: open the windows. Let the real outside in. We’re not quietly hoping you won’t notice — we’re glad. Our own monitor will show you the green, and we mean it when we call those the best days of the year.

We don’t make an emergency out of a good day. A company built on fear needs every day to be the worst one. We’re the opposite. We point at the clean days and say: more of these, please. Each one is a small preview of the ending we actually want.

What we’re really for

Our real goal is bigger than our product: an India where the air is clean everywhere — indoors and out.

aqi0 is only the indoor half of that goal — the half you can have today. The outdoor half belongs to all of us, and it’s already being fought for: cleaner energy, cleaner transport, an end to stubble and dust, clean cooking fuel reaching every kitchen, and the patient, in-progress work of the people across every state who measure this air and chip away at it. We’re cheering for all of it.

When the good days stop being the exception — when clean outdoor air is simply normal — no home will need a machine to make its air safe. On that day our core product has done its job, and we’ll gladly be unneeded. That isn’t our defeat. It’s the thing we were built for.

The day India’s air is clean enough that no home needs aqi0 is the day aqi0 has won.

Until then

Nobody should have to wait for the outside to catch up before their children can breathe clean air at home. You already do exactly this for water — boiled, filtered, an Aquaguard on the wall, a Pureit by the sink, an RO under the counter, whatever your family uses. No one worries that clean water makes the family soft; you simply treat the input you can control. Air is the same input, one tier behind.

Less of a harmful thing is always better. Air is the next utility. Water already is.

So until the day we’re not needed, here’s our whole contribution, plainly: everyone inside breathes clean air, and everyone inside gets the time to recover.
