An industrial engineer by training, Rohan has spent twenty-three years building operations: strategy at Kearney, scale at Jabong, launches at noon, and COO of eyewa as it grew from five stores to a hundred.
That operations experience is what aqi0 runs on: making a machine in Gurugram, installing it in your home and servicing it for years.
He wants cleaner days for his own family. Until they come, he believes that when the technology to clean the air at home already exists, it should be affordable and transparent. So every aqi0 product price is published, and we tell you what's inside.
Why we started aqi0
When I came back to Gurugram after years abroad, friends told me to get a fresh-air system. I looked, and the prices didn’t make sense. That winter I also learned that two large purifiers in our bedroom weren’t enough. With kids at home, it was a tense season.
Every winter we move my parents out of the city. The rest of us can’t leave; school and work keep us here. If you can get away for the worst months, that’s still the best answer. If you can’t, the next best thing is to cut how much of that air you breathe at home.
We come from manufacturing, and we weren’t afraid to build from scratch. When we looked at the technology, we knew it could be made here at a fair price. Friends and family backed us, and theirs were our first homes. The first machine we installed still runs in my home. Most days the air inside stays in single digits. It rises when we cook in our open kitchen, and because fresh air is always coming in, it clears quickly.
By July, the response to the price, the openness and the care made us go full time. Every aqi0 system is designed, assembled and tested in Gurugram. We make our own air-quality monitor, and we’re bringing filter-making in-house. We’re here for homes across Delhi NCR, with more to come.

What we build
aqi0 is a whole-home air purifier, technically a positive-pressure fresh air system. It draws outdoor air through H13 HEPA filtration and supplies it to occupied rooms through a standalone installation.
We design, assemble and test the system in Gurugram. The work starts with the home: its layout, occupants, intake position, room connections and maintenance access. A useful system has to fit the way a family actually lives.
Measured performance, clear terms
AQI Zero is our name and ambition, not a guarantee that every room will show zero at every moment. Indoor sources, openings, occupancy, outdoor conditions and filter care affect the result.
We publish our technical note so customers can read the specifications, performance commitment, operating conditions and remedy before deciding. Measurements should identify what was tested, when and under which conditions. We do not promise that an installation treats illness or delivers a particular medical outcome.
Cleaner outdoor air matters too
Household filtration does not replace public efforts to reduce emissions. Better outdoor conditions benefit people at home, in transit, at school and at work. We want those improvements to continue.
When outdoor conditions are suitable, natural ventilation can be useful. Check current local conditions, indoor sources, temperature and humidity rather than assuming a particular season is always clean or always polluted.
Designed for care over time
