Customer Stories from Real Homes
Every story below is from a real installation across Delhi NCR. Specific names, unit numbers, and identifying details are removed — but the measurements, the symptoms, and the outcomes are real.
aqi0 systems are running in real homes across Gurugram and South Delhi. The patterns below repeat across installations. If you recognise one of these stories — the morning headache, the asthma episode that didn’t come back, the afternoon fog that turned out to be CO₂ — it’s because they’re common. The engineering response is the same.
The teenager waking up with morning headaches
Garden Estate, DLF Phase 3 (Gurugram)
One family asked us in for a survey because their teenager had been waking up with morning headaches every winter for three years — a classic symptom of overnight CO₂ accumulation in a closed bedroom. They had been running two air purifiers at night, which helped with PM2.5 but did nothing for the CO₂.
Within a week of the install, the headaches stopped. Their indoor PM2.5 — which they had never measured before — dropped from a typical 90-110 µg/m³ to a steady 6-9 µg/m³. What surprised them most was the CO₂ data: closed bedrooms in the family had been hitting 1,800-2,400 ppm overnight. With the fresh air system running, levels stayed under 950 ppm even with two adults sleeping in the same room.
Measurements after install (24-hour averages):
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor PM2.5 | 70-110 µg/m³ | 5-9 µg/m³ |
| Bedroom CO₂ overnight peak | 1,800-2,400 ppm | 850-980 ppm |
| Indoor AQI typical | 180-260 | 25-40 |

The Block D family who stopped buying air purifiers
Park View City 1, Sector 48 (Gurugram)
The Block D family had originally bought three air purifiers — one per bedroom plus the living room. Two of them had stopped working, and the third was running at maximum speed almost continuously without ever pulling indoor PM2.5 below 50 µg/m³. After the fresh air install, indoor PM2.5 ran at 7 µg/m³ on a typical winter morning, and they moved the surviving purifier to a guest room.
The CO₂ improvement was the bigger surprise. Their primary bedroom had been crossing 2,000 ppm by 3 a.m. on most nights; with the fresh-air system running it now stays under 900 ppm.
Measurements after install:
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor PM2.5 (24h avg) | 65 µg/m³ | 7 µg/m³ |
| Bedroom CO₂ overnight peak | 2,100 ppm | 890 ppm |
| Daytime indoor AQI | 165 | 28 |

The “afternoon fog” that was actually CO₂
Emaar Palm Drive, Sector 66 (Gurugram)
The H-tower family’s reason for installing was specific: the parents both work hybrid schedules and were experiencing what they called “afternoon fog” — concentration drops between 2 and 5 p.m. that they had assumed were lunch fatigue. Their first week of CO₂ data told a different story. Their home office had been hitting 1,400-1,600 ppm by mid-afternoon with the door closed. Once the fresh-air system was running, the office stayed below 800 ppm continuously, and the afternoon slump disappeared.
Measurements after install:
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Living-room PM2.5 (winter) | 80-95 µg/m³ | 6-9 µg/m³ |
| Home-office CO₂ (afternoon) | 1,400-1,600 ppm | 720-790 ppm |
| Master bedroom CO₂ (overnight peak) | 1,750 ppm | 870 ppm |

The child whose asthma episodes stopped
Park View Spa, Sector 47 (Gurugram)
The Block D owner had a four-year-old child with seasonal asthma episodes that started every November. The parents had tried the standard combinations — HEPA purifiers in the child’s bedroom, masks during outdoor play, and the inhaler-free protocol the paediatrician had recommended. The asthma episodes still arrived every winter.
The first winter after the fresh-air install, the child had no asthma flare-up. Indoor PM2.5 had stayed under 12 µg/m³ even on the worst November days, and the home was no longer running on closed-door, recirculating air.
Measurements over the first winter season post-install:
| Before (last winter) | After (this winter) | |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor PM2.5 (Nov-Jan avg) | 55-80 µg/m³ | 8-11 µg/m³ |
| Child’s bedroom CO₂ overnight peak | 1,650 ppm | 880 ppm |
| Asthma episodes (Nov-Jan) | 4 documented | 0 |

The resident who replaced five purifiers with one system
DLF Aralias, DLF Phase 5 (Gurugram)
The Aralias resident had been running multiple high-end air purifiers — the kind with imported HEPA filters and three-figure replacement costs every six months. The purifiers reduced PM2.5 in the room they were placed in, but couldn’t address CO₂, and couldn’t cover the whole home without one unit per room.
A fresh-air system replaced the purifiers entirely. Indoor PM2.5 across all rooms now reads 5-8 µg/m³ on a typical day, and the resident no longer needs to track filter replacement schedules across five separate machines.
Multi-room readings from the DLF Phase 5 install:
| Before (purifiers only) | After (fresh-air) | |
|---|---|---|
| Living-room PM2.5 | 25 µg/m³ | 6 µg/m³ |
| Master-bedroom PM2.5 | 35 µg/m³ | 7 µg/m³ |
| Living-room CO₂ (evening) | 1,300 ppm | 780 ppm |
| Master-bedroom CO₂ (overnight peak) | 2,100 ppm | 920 ppm |

The body-composition test that flagged indoor air
Raheja Atlantis, Sector 31 (Gurugram)
One of the Atlantis apartment residents originally bought the system after attending a body-composition test that included a CO₂-tolerance metric. The result had been below average, and the trainer suggested it might be related to chronic indoor air quality rather than fitness. The resident installed the fresh-air system and re-tested six weeks later — the CO₂ tolerance metric had improved measurably.
The gym install at the same society was prompted partly by this resident’s experience: a measurement during peak gym hours showed CO₂ hitting 1,800-2,200 ppm with PM2.5 routinely above 60 µg/m³ during winter months. After the gym install, both numbers stay well within the WHO comfort zone.
Apartment install (residential):
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Living-room PM2.5 (24h avg) | 75 µg/m³ | 8 µg/m³ |
| Master-bedroom CO₂ overnight peak | 1,950 ppm | 900 ppm |
Gym install (community clubhouse):
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Gym PM2.5 (peak hours) | 60-90 µg/m³ | 9-14 µg/m³ |
| Gym CO₂ (peak hours, full class) | 1,800-2,200 ppm | 950-1,050 ppm |

Patterns we see across every install
Across every home — different societies, different family sizes, different floor plans — the same patterns repeat:
- Indoor PM2.5 drops from 60-130 µg/m³ to under 10 µg/m³ within hours of system start, and stays there continuously.
- Closed-bedroom CO₂ drops from 1,500-2,400 ppm overnight to under 1,000 ppm, often under 900 ppm.
- Morning symptoms — headaches, throat irritation, eye dryness, foggy waking — that residents had attributed to “Delhi air” generally turn out to be CO₂-driven and disappear within 1-2 weeks.
- Furniture dust accumulation drops noticeably within a few days. The H13 HEPA catches particulates that would otherwise settle on hard surfaces.
- Air purifiers in the same home become redundant for the whole-home coverage that aqi0 provides. Residents often move them to guest rooms or stop using them.
